The median price jumped 13% to $1,250,800, up from $1,106,000 in the same period last year as buyers in search of more space and outdoor living rushed to the East Bay. Properties sold in 18 days on average during the current quarter, much faster than 22 days in the same quarter last year. At the date of this newsletter, there were148 homes available for sale (2 weeks of inventory) compared to 81 homes at this time last year.
